I Clicked the Default Fill and Stroke icon at the bottom of the Tools panel, and then click Arrange in the Properties panel and selected Send to Back. Then I switched to the Selection tool, pressed Shift, and select the larger outline shape and the line you just drew. In the Pathfinder section of the Properties panel, I clicked More Options (three dots) and then I clicked Divide. I switched to the Selection tool, pressed Shift, and I selected the larger outline shape and the line I drew. In the Pathfinder section of the Properties panel, I clicked More Options (three dots) and then I clicked Divide.
